Tyreek Hill is back in NFL headlines, this time tied to potential interest from the New England Patriots following his recent release from the Miami Dolphins. As of this writing, Hill is a free agent, and reports suggest New England could emerge as a landing spot if the team looks to add a proven deep threat on a short-term deal.

According to Yardbarker, the Patriots are still evaluating options at wide receiver after free agency moves, and Hill’s name has surfaced as a possible fit alongside quarterback Drake Maye.

Hill is coming off a significant knee injury suffered early in the 2025 season, which required surgery to repair multiple ligament tears. The injury limited him to just four games last year.

Before that, he had established himself as one of the league’s most explosive playmakers, including a near 2,000-yard receiving season in 2023. Over his career, Hill has totaled more than 12,000 scrimmage yards and 90 touchdowns, including a Super Bowl run with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaking previously about his focus amid uncertainty, Hill said, “My focus right now is just playing ball and spending time with my kids… providing for my family.”

He added that outside distractions can “cloud what you’re really trying to get accomplished.”

Those distractions have included a highly public divorce from his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro. In September 2025, Vaccaro accused Hill of multiple incidents of domestic violence during their 17-month marriage, alleging at least eight separate encounters in early 2024.

She claimed he shoved her, pulled her hair, and once burned her with a marijuana cigarette. Hill has denied the allegations, with his attorney describing them as “unsubstantiated” and part of a financial dispute.

A nanny cam video later submitted in court captured a heated argument involving Hill, Vaccaro, and her mother near the couple’s child.

In the footage, Hill is heard saying he intended to take his daughter and leave, while Vaccaro and her mother repeatedly pleaded, “Please don’t hurt the baby,” as the situation escalates off camera.

The divorce proceedings have also involved financial rulings. In January 2026, a judge ordered Hill to pay $5,500 per month in temporary support while continuing to cover significant housing costs.

The court also criticized Vaccaro’s spending, including a $196,000 Bentley purchase, as excessive.
