As Tiger Woods marks three decades of work through his foundation, the milestone came with a major boost that will shape its next chapter.

According to ESPN, during a private anniversary celebration in Palm Beach, Florida, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank pledged $20 million to support the creation of a new TGR Learning Lab in Atlanta.

The evening doubled as a celebration of both legacy and forward momentum. Held at The Breakers, the event brought together a tight-knit circle of athletes, business leaders, and entertainers, with Jon Bon Jovi providing a live performance.

Founded in 1996 when Tiger Woods turned pro, the Tiger Woods Foundation—now known as the TGR Foundation—initially centered on youth golf clinics. Over time, it evolved into a broader educational platform aimed at students from underserved communities. Learning Labs became the cornerstone of that vision, offering hands-on academic support, career preparation, and mentorship.

The upcoming Atlanta facility will become the foundation’s fifth Learning Lab. Existing or planned locations include Anaheim, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Augusta, Georgia, where the program is tied to the redevelopment of a municipal course known locally as “The Patch.” According to the foundation, its programs have reached more than 3 million young people and directly served over 217,000 students since 2006.

Blank’s donation came through the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. In a statement, Arthur Blank praised Woods’ leadership beyond sports, saying, “I have immense respect and admiration for Tiger, not only for his legendary career, but for the way he continues to lead with purpose off the course.” He added that the impact of the TGR Learning Labs has been “incredibly inspiring.”

Woods echoed that sentiment in remarks released after the event, noting that his proudest accomplishments now live beyond scorecards and trophies. “The legacy I’m most proud of isn’t on the golf course,” he said. “It’s the work we’ve done to positively impact the lives of students through TGR Foundation.”
