Will Levis is back in the headlines for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with football or mayonnaise. The Tennessee Titans quarterback reportedly spent an “exorbitant” amount of money trying to wipe a leaked sex tape involving his ex-girlfriend, Gia Duddy, from the internet after hackers allegedly stole the footage from one of his private devices.
The situation was detailed by Levis’ mother, Beth, during an appearance on the Ross Tucker Podcast, where she described getting an emotional phone call from her son after the video began spreading online in May 2024. “The first words out of Will’s mouth were, ‘I’m so sorry, mom,’” she said, explaining that Levis quickly hired cybersecurity specialists in an effort to track the source of the leak and remove the content from social media platforms.
According to Beth, investigators later determined the footage was allegedly pulled from a hacked device connected to an Eastern European cybercrime group that had targeted Levis years earlier while he was still in college.
“We did find out that actually this content was stolen,” she explained, adding that the group specifically targeted “attractive couples” for online exposure and viral attention.
Beth also pushed back on rumors that either Levis or Duddy intentionally leaked the footage themselves.
Levis and Duddy first met while attending Penn State before Levis transferred to Kentucky, where he became one of college football’s biggest quarterback prospects.
Duddy went massively viral during the 2023 NFL Draft while sitting beside Levis as he dramatically slid out of the first round before Tennessee selected him with the No. 33 pick.
That moment instantly turned her into an internet celebrity, boosting her following from roughly 60,000 followers to the hundreds of thousands almost overnight.
The couple later moved to Nashville together before splitting shortly before Levis’ rookie NFL season began in 2023. Since then, their careers have gone in completely different directions. Duddy’s influencer brand has continued to grow across Instagram and TikTok, while Levis has struggled to lock down his future in Tennessee.
After flashes of promise during his rookie year, including a four-touchdown NFL debut against the Atlanta Falcons, the quarterback dealt with injuries, turnovers, and eventually lost his starting role.
