Steph Curry is bringing a fresh twist to his Gentleman’s Cut bourbon brand, and this time he’s calling in a legend from the culinary world.

Per a company press release, the four-time NBA champion has teamed up with renowned chef and humanitarian José Andrés for the latest installment in Gentleman’s Cut’s Player Exclusive series. This limited-edition release blends craftsmanship, culture, and community.

The collab, called Player Exclusive: José Andrés, is aged 10 years and finished in Spanish Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, giving the whiskey a rich flavor profile rooted in Andrés’ Spanish heritage. Only 800 bottles are being produced, and each will retail for $375.

Unlike past Gentleman’s Cut exclusives, which celebrated Curry’s own milestones, this marks the first time the series has brought in an outside figure. “Gentleman’s Cut has always been about more than what’s in the glass; it’s about bringing people together, celebrating craftsmanship, and creating moments that matter,” said Curry in the launch announcement. “Partnering with José on this Player Exclusive release is special because he embodies those same values through his food, his vision and his commitment to community through his World Central Kitchen non-profit.”

Andrés, whose World Central Kitchen has provided meals in disaster zones around the globe since 2010, echoed the sentiment. “To me, food and drink provide a common language, a way to share joy and create community at home and around the world,” he said. “It is an incredible honor to partner with Stephen Curry, a friend who shares the same passion of bringing people together, as we launch the first collaborative edition of Gentleman’s Cut: Player Exclusive series.”

The bourbon itself delivers a layered experience: vanilla at its core, with notes of raisins, fig jam, and honey steeped in spiced rum. The finish introduces subtle hits of leather, nutmeg, and espresso, proofed at 107 with a mashbill of 78% corn, 13% rye, and 9% malted barley.

More than just a collectible bottle, the project also carries purpose—proceeds from the release will benefit World Central Kitchen’s ongoing relief efforts. For fans of Curry, fine spirits, or both, this collab represents a rare chance to taste a blend of basketball, culinary artistry, and social impact.

The Player Exclusive: José Andrés will be available in limited quantities through Gentleman’s Cut’s website and select retailers nationwide.
