Sophie Cunningham is back in the middle of another viral social media moment after posting a beachside TikTok showing herself floating in the ocean in a string bikini.
According to Sporting News, the video, shared March 25, showed Cunningham drifting on her back in the water while a sound clip played over the footage: “I love life again. I’ve never been sad before in my life. Everything is fine. Happiness!” Cunningham captioned the post, “Not lies told.”
The latest post quickly picked up traction online, continuing a recent pattern in which the Indiana Fever guard has generated attention as much for her social media presence as for anything happening on the court.
The video leaned into the polished, highly curated style that has become part of Cunningham’s online persona in recent months, with the 29-year-old using TikTok to post beach clips, dance videos, workout shots, and behind-the-scenes glimpses from her offseason.
Cunningham’s latest post comes just weeks after another widely shared photo dump drew a public reaction from teammate Caitlin Clark. After Cunningham uploaded a series of February photos featuring several revealing workout looks, Clark commented, “Do u play basketball.”
Cunningham fired back with a joke of her own: “Do you want me to send you my highlight reel?”
Cunningham earned the nickname “The Enforcer” during the 2024 season after stepping in to defend Clark during a physical game. The Fever later brought her back on a one-year deal after announcing in October that she had re-signed with the team.
Clark and Cunningham, along with Lexie Hull, have become known among fans as the “Tres Leches” trio, a nickname tied to their friendship off the floor.
The new beach video also arrives after Cunningham spent much of the offseason making headlines for other off-court comments. Earlier this year, she drew attention after criticizing Los Angeles on TikTok, saying she did not connect with the city and that the people she encountered “all look the same.”
