Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are finally settling into the home they spent years imagining.
As Realtor.com reported, this week, the Olympic champion revealed that she and the Chicago Bears safety officially received the keys to their custom Texas mansion—a project that began back in 2020 and only just reached completion after a long, layered process.
According to Biles, the design phase alone took a whole year to finalize. From there, the couple waited through HOA approvals before breaking ground in February 2022.
Construction stretched far beyond its original estimate, ultimately wrapping on November 11.
“Home building requires a lot of patience,” Biles joked on Instagram, noting that the promised nine-month timetable turned into nearly three years.
Still, the gymnast proudly celebrated the milestone, sharing that she now has “keys in hand” and that the home is officially closed.
Once the project was complete, Biles and Owens marked the moment with a black-and-white photoshoot throughout the new space. Shot by Houston photographer Rachel Taylor, the images show the couple in different areas of the house—from their dramatic kitchen to the primary bathroom—highlighting the details they spent years planning.
In one set of photos, the pair sits barefoot in their kitchen, sharing pizza slices against the backdrop of oversized islands, marble surfaces, and modern fixtures. In another, they transition into dressier looks as they pose between their dual bathroom sinks.
Biles also gave fans a closer look at several standout features inside the home. The kitchen, designed around a black-and-white theme, includes custom marble detailing, brass hardware, and double islands.
A separate room built entirely for their dogs mirrors the tile used in their outdoor pool and includes a pet spa area and a built-in feeding station. The couple’s laundry setup features two complete sets of machines—an intentional choice, Biles said, since Owens likes to wash his clothes the same day she does.
Throughout the construction timeline, Biles continued training and competing, eventually returning to the Olympics and getting married along the way. Owens, too, saw major career shifts, transitioning from the Texans to the Packers and later to the Bears.
