A Christmas visit to his father’s house turned into an unexpected social media moment for Shilo Sanders, who stumbled into a holiday scene that sparked laughter — and plenty of speculation.
While filming a casual video inside the home, Shilo noticed something odd about the stack of neatly wrapped gifts. As he moved closer, he realized none of them appeared to be meant for him. Instead, every visible tag carried the same name: “Mrs. K.”
“Bro, everything says Mrs. K on here,” Shilo said, clearly amused. “That means Karrueche [Tran]. She has so much stuff. What if all this is just for her? And I didn’t get anything?”
Despite the jokes about missing presents, there was no hint of tension. Shilo even suggested hosting a joint interview with his father and Tran on his YouTube channel, inviting fans to submit questions.
Public attention around the relationship first grew earlier this year when Tran appeared in videos supporting Sanders during his hospitalization and recovery from bladder cancer surgery. Since then, she’s shown up repeatedly in family vlogs and behind-the-scenes footage, often interacting comfortably with Sanders’ children.
That dynamic was highlighted again in recent holiday content shared by Deion Sanders Jr. on the family’s Well Off Media YouTube channel.
During a shopping trip, Sanders Jr. asked Tran what she bought for Coach Prime. “A couple of things,” she replied, before adding that she also picked up a gift for him. “I got you a gift too,” she said, jokingly referring to him as her “stepson.”
Sanders Jr. later revealed that Tran gifted him a black pilot case, prompting him to thank his “stepmom,” a nickname that appears to be part of an ongoing family joke.
