Dillon Danis is seeking another delay in the ongoing lawsuit filed by Nina Agdal, citing a concussion he says he suffered during a recent UFC-related brawl in New York City.

According to court filings obtained by TMZ Sports, Danis claims he is currently in California receiving medical treatment for a head injury sustained during an altercation at Madison Square Garden on November 15.

The incident reportedly involved members of UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev’s team. It sparked swift public backlash, including comments from New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who called the behavior “unacceptable” and confirmed the NYPD had launched a formal investigation.

Because of the injury, Danis’s attorney, Mark Berman, informed Agdal’s legal team that his client would not be available for a scheduled deposition in New Jersey next week.

Berman stated that he plans to provide alternative dates in January, writing that those dates would be shared “no later than Friday, December 12, 2025.” He added that if January availability cannot be confirmed, he would expect the court to mandate a deposition on a date selected by Agdal’s counsel.

The deposition dispute is the latest chapter in a legal case that dates back to 2023, when Nina Agdal filed a lawsuit against Danis after a prolonged online campaign targeting her ahead of his boxing match with Logan Paul.

Agdal accused Danis of sharing intimate images, doctored photos, and explicit content without consent, alleging emotional distress, reputational damage, and violations of federal law. She is seeking damages of no less than $150,000 per violation.

Agdal, who is now married to Paul and welcomed their first child in 2024, spoke publicly about the impact of the harassment in the HBO reality series Paul American.

On the show, she described the experience as “the most traumatic” period of her life, explaining that the volume and intensity of the online attacks severely affected her mental health.

Paul also addressed the situation in the series, expressing regret over choosing Danis as an opponent. “I chose him as my dance partner,” he said, “and that ended up being the worst mistake of my life.”

Separately, Danis’ concussion has also sidelined him from competition. Misfits Boxing announced that he would not be medically cleared to fight Anthony Taylor at an upcoming event, though the promotion said it expects him to return in 2026.
