Conor McGregor has officially tied the knot.

The former UFC champion married longtime partner Dee Devlin in a ceremony held on Friday, December 12, inside Vatican City, according to TMZ. The wedding took place at the Church of Santo Stefano degli Abissini, a small historic church located within the Vatican walls.

The marriage comes after more than 15 years together for McGregor, 37, and Devlin, 38, whose relationship predates his rise to global MMA fame.

The couple shares four children: Conor Jr., born in 2017; daughter Croía, born in 2019; son Rían, born in 2021; and their youngest son, Mack, born in 2023.

McGregor and Devlin both grew up in the Dublin area and ran in overlapping social circles, but didn’t connect romantically until meeting at a nightclub in 2008.

They stayed in touch and eventually began dating as McGregor started to establish himself in the regional fighting scene. Devlin later became a fixture at his fights and public appearances as his career accelerated.

The couple got engaged in August 2020, with McGregor announcing the proposal on social media on Devlin’s birthday. At the time, he shared a photo of the ring and wrote, “What a birthday, my future wife.”

McGregor previously hinted that a wedding would be a significant event. “My wedding is going to be extravagant, that’s for damn sure. We are gonna have the best of the best of the best,” he said back in 2021.

Devlin has remained by McGregor’s side through multiple phases of his public life, including legal and personal controversies. In November 2024, McGregor was found liable in a civil sexual assault case related to an incident from 2018.

He appealed the ruling but was ultimately ordered in July 2025 to pay nearly €250,000 in damages. Devlin was present in support during court proceedings.

Following the ruling, McGregor issued a public statement acknowledging wrongdoing and apologizing to Devlin. “I know I made mistakes,” he wrote. “I should never have stepped out on the woman I love the most in the world.”
