In an interview with Sports Radio 810 WHB, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill announced his plans to retire from the NFL after the 2025 season.

"I'm going for 10 [seasons], man," said the 29-year-old, who will be 31 when his current contract comes to an end after the 2025 season. "I'm gonna finish out this contract with the Dolphins and then I'm gonna call it quits. I want to go into the business side. I want to do so many things in my life, bro."

Hill, who has been with the Miami Dolphins since he was traded by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, said he wants to move into the gaming space following his NFL retirement. "I really want to get huge in that and that's kind of what I'm doing right now. I'm using my platform, creating a gaming team, which isn't launched yet,” added Hill. “It should launch by the end of this month. I'm gonna just sign like different content creators, different athletes. I just been working that, talking to different sponsors."

Elsewhere in the chat, he also opened up about how he feels about the Dolphins facing off against his former team later this year. "Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we gonna do?" Hill said, per ESPN. "I hate to say it, man. I hate to throw up the peace sign against y'all. I hate to do it! But guess what? I'm gonna be y'all worst enemy that day. I'm gonna be y'all worst enemy that day."

Hill started his NFL career with the Chiefs in 2016 when he was selected in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. He became the first West Alabama player to be drafted since 1974. Before his professional career, Hill was arrested in 2014 for the alleged assault of his then-pregnant girlfriend Crystal Espinal. He pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation. In 2019, he was investigated for the alleged abuse of his son, which he denied.
