Travis Kelce Reacts to Lil Wayne Accusing the Chiefs of 'Cheating'

Lil Wayne expressed his frustrations about the Chiefs following their playoff game against the Houston Texans.

On the latest episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother, Travis Kelce reacted to Lil Wayne accusing the Kansas City Chiefs of "cheating" against the Houston Texans.

"The whole world was talking about something else during the game, and I'm sure you saw some of this, but they were complaining about the refs again, Trav," Jason Kelce said. "Even Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne wrote, 'I hate the cheating ass Chiefs. Ass with two Zs.'"

"Shout out to Tunechi, man," Travis Kelce said with a laugh when his brother read out the tweet at the 18:30 point of the podcast, seen in the video above.

In his tweet, Lil Wayne wrote, "I hate the cheating azz Chiefs." He also tweeted, "It's not even impressive when u cheat and then clearly try to cheat. Just win baby."

Jason Kelce continued to read out some of the tweets criticizing the Chiefs and the referees, and when he asked his brother about the calls, Travis Kelce responded, "I'd like to plead the fifth."

During the game, referees made multiple calls that proved controversial, with the Texans' defense receiving two penalties that some argued led to the Chiefs victory.

Even Texans coach DeMeco Ryans implied he was suspicious of the calls.

"We knew going into this game, man, it was us versus everybody," he said, per NBC Sports.

The Kansas City Chiefs' victory against the Houston Texans clearly didn't sit well with Wheezy, a long-time fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Travis Kelce's team is set to face off against the the Buffalo Bills on Sunday for the AFC Championship Game, which will follow the NFC Championship Game between the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles earlier in the day.
