Colorado Buffaloes star Shedeur Sanders doesn't want to hear any more discourse surrounding his teammate Travis Hunter's relationship with his fiancée Leanna Lenee.
In a tweet shared on Sunday, Dec. 22, Sanders appeared to address all the comments about Hunter and Lenee by telling people to mind their business or talk to either of them directly. "All y'all athletes, entertainers, artist etc. if y'all genuine trying to holla at Trav y'all know how to get in touch with him or someone around," he wrote. "At this point y'all just posting for the algorithm trying to look cool."
TMZ reports that Hunter has deactivated his Instagram account amid the discourse online surrounding Heisman Trophy winner Hunter and his relationship with Lenee. Over the past weekend, an old video of Lenee dancing with another man resurfaced, further fueling the trolls.
Earlier this month, Hunter's coach Deion Sanders appeared to make Lenee stand up when he was announced as the Heisman winner. She denied the claims in a lengthy TikTok video.
She's also faced criticism regarding comments she's made about their relationship, revealing that she initially left his DMs on read because he was already in a relationship when he first reached out to her. "I said I left him in my DMs for two months, and people said, 'Oh, she left him in the DMs until she figured out who he was. That is not true at all," she said. "The reason why Travis sat in my DMs for two months is because he DM'd me when he had a girlfriend, and her name was in his bio, so I instantly knew he had a partner... He sat there until he was single. I don't do home wrecking!"
Among the notable celebrities to express concern about Hunter and Lenee's relationship is Bow Wow, who suggested that the rising Buffaloes star is making a mistake.
“All we are doing is waking you up, young brother,” he said in a video. “Because if you don’t see what the fuck is going on, gang… If we don’t give a fuck, we’d let you crash out, but from one player to the next… I’m not gonna tell you what to do but I want you to open up your eyes, man.”
