Dwyane Wade's statue outside the Kaseya Center has inspired a hilarious new skit from comedy group RDC World.

In the skit, which can be seen below, the comedy group's Mark Phillips is honored with his very own statue. Surrounded by friends, he's initially excited for the unveiling only for it to not match his expectations at all. In fact, the statue can only be described as impish, like some sort of comedic relief creature from a low-rent fantasy movie.

"He looks just like you, for real," one of his friends tells him. "Not just like me, but I appreciate it," Phillips replies, feigning a smile. "It's gonna be around forever!" another friend tells him. "I hope not!" Phillips shoots back. After thanking everyone for the statue, he asks who the artist is before confronting him over the work. The artist, appalled by the disrespect, tells him that he previously did statues for Cristiano Ronaldo and Dwyane Wade.

Wade's now infamous statue inspired some hilarious reactions online. When it was unveiled, Wade joked, "Who is that guy?” He later defended the statue, which he described as an "artistic version of a moment."

"If I wanted it to look like me, I’d just stand outside the arena and y'all can take photos," Wade said. "It don't need to look like me. It's the artistic version of a moment that happened that we’re trying to cement." Ultimately, he said that he didn't care about the reactions. "The social media world is about opinions. Everyone has an opinion. Everyone, use y'all opinions. Please talk more about us. Talk more about a statue, come on down to see it, take some photos, send some memes. We don't care."
