LeBron Lists Son and Steph as Who He Wants to Play With in Exclusive ‘The Shop’ Clip: 'Bronny's No. 1'

Ahead of this week’s episode of 'The Shop,' an exclusive clip features LeBron James breaking down who he wants to play basketball with the most.

Ahead of this week’s episode of The Shop, an exclusive clip features LeBron James breaking down who he wants to play basketball with the most.

In the clip above, LeBron reveals that his son Bronny is “number one on my fucking list” as far as players he wants to play professional basketball with. “Nah, he can’t beat me,” he said when asked by Gunna if he could be bested by Bronny.

“Not too long ago, I asked him, ‘What you wanna do with this? You wanna get to the pros? What you wanna do?’ He said, ‘Yeah.’ I said, ‘Why?’ He said, ‘Because I wanna make a name for myself,’” LeBron continued. “That’s all I needed to hear.”

As for all-time players, LeBron said Scottie Pippen is his pick. “Obviously MJ was crazy, Kobe would’ve been another one. But Scottie Pippen and Penny Hardaway was like my two… Because I see myself in them,” he said.

As far as current players, LeBron said he’d love to play with Steph Curry. Asked why he picked Steph, LeBron described the Warriors point guard as “lethal.”

This isn’t the first time LeBron has showered Curry with praise. Speaking with reporters in December ahead of Steph breaking the all-time 3-point record, he said, “If there’s one guy in NBA history that can make 16 threes, it’s Steph Curry. I’m literally sitting there doing the calculations in my head. I’m like ‘16. OK I know he’s made 12 a few times. Well if there’s someone that can do it, it’ll be him.’ That just lets you know how incredible he is.”

The latest installment of The Shop also features Gunna, Rick Ross, A’Ja Wilson, and Steve Stoute. It airs Friday, April 8 at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET exclusively on UNINTERRUPTED’s YouTube channel.
