It's safe to say that Jordan Poole's father Anthony Poole has some major issues with Draymond Green, who punched his son in the face during a Warriors practice last year.

"I'm stand on this that's is some bs," the elder Poole tweeted recently. "JP was his guy and he avoid me all last yr. He is a soft [ass] bitch and I'm standing on this and he didn't apologize to me and my wife. So he lame and me and him can meet anytime he want."

Green has since replied to Poole's tweet and suggested his former teammate's father is all talk. "That's so cute," he wrote. "It's impossible to avoid you an arena for a year champ. I got get my family from that family room every game. And stop using those words, they usually don't go over well amongst men."

Jordan Poole has shared an Instagram Stories post of him shooting hoops set to Gunna's track "Bottom" alongside quotes from the song. "'Talk of the topic,'" he wrote. "'Find you a hobby...' 😂."

Jordan Poole was traded from the Golden State Warriors to the Washington Wizards last month, in what was a surprise to many. In return, the Warriors got Chris Paul, ending Poole's brief tenure in Golden State.

The Warriors were never the same after the punch, with Green announcing that he would briefly step away from the team for a few days in order to allow himself and the team to "heal."

“I’m going to continue to stay away, as I’ve been away, and continue to do work on myself, but also just give guys space,” Green said at the time. “I do want to give my team some space, I want to give Jordan some space, and then also take a few days and continue to work on myself
take some time to let everything breathe."

Green's mother, Mary Babers-Green, defended her son on social media after video of the altercation surfaced. “They can get beyond this. Anything is fixable! Everything ain’t always what you think you see!” she wrote. “That wasn’t a Sucker punch. Dray didn’t aggressively go to Poole. His hands were down. Man to Man you go over to talk (to ask what’s up, what you say)! Got shoved and reacted.. End of story!”

In an interview with Stephen A. Smith after the Warriors' season ended earlier than anticipated, he suggested the team would've made it further had he not gotten into it with Poole. "I still think the fact of the matter is it's going to be hard—I don't really think anyone could beat us," Green said. "I know we just lost. I'm not taking anything away from the Los Angeles Lakers. They're competing at a high level, they're a good team."

He said it wasn't until February this year that he felt like himself again." I'm aware that Jordan struggled a little bit at times this year, I get that, and had I not done that, the relationship we had I coulda been there for him," he added. "I could have carried him through that, [I] wasn't necessarily able to do that once everything happened."
