The College Football Playoff is coming up and the tournament's teams were announced on Sunday afternoon during ESPN's selection show. It's safe to say not everyone will be surprised by the competitors.

The undefeated Alabama is No. 1. Nick Saban's Crimson Tide clinched that spot with a tight win over Georgia on Saturday. His teams have made the playoffs every year it's existed.

Fellow undefeateds Clemson and Notre Dame land at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Clemson has made all but one CFP and gave Alabama its lone defeat in the tournament's national championship.
