Cam'ron and Mase discussed the 48-year age gap between North Carolina coach Bill Belichick, 73, and his much younger girlfriend Jordon Hudson, 24—and the conversation went unexpected places from there.
In a recent episode of their show It Is What It Is, the Harlem rappers analyzed Belichick's controversial recent interview on CBS Sunday Morning, which Hudson interrupted in a way that raised concern among many observers.
Cam'ron did most of the talking, as Mase was seemingly rendered speechless in the face of the nearly five-decade age gap between Belichick and Hudson.
Cam, for his part, said that he had no problem with Hudson helping out with Belichick's social media and media appearances. But, he continued, the viral interview demonstrated that she had too much control.
"She was sitting off to the side, and when they asked him a question... she just jumped up and said, 'We're not talking about that,'" he explained. "She's not even in the one-on-one interview. She's over there: 'We're not talking about that.' ... It looked like she just had too much leverage on Bill Belichick. It looked like she had a lot of influence."
Going back to the age gap, Cam said he couldn't imagine himself in a similar situation.
"I can't do a 50-year discrepancy," he said. "I keep kicking 25-year-olds out my DMs. Like, yo, no, shorty. I'll fuck your life up, for real. This is not what you wanna do. I play a lot of mind games, I'm not consistent. I don't call, I text. Yo, I'm telling you, you're not mentally ready for this."
Co-host Treasure "Stat Baby" Wilson wished Belicheck and Hudson the best with their relationship, and casually referenced a Valentine's Day photo shoot they did where Belichick dressed up as a fisherman and Hudson dressed as a mermaid. That led Killa Cam to take a bizarre detour.
"I'm into roleplay," Cam laughed.
Then he got specific.
"I had a kitten once," he continued, which caused the entire studio to erupt into laughter. "I put the bowl down with the milk in it. ... It was fun, man. She was a kitten that night. She came back next time with the pig nose, I said, 'Hold on now. I gotta work my way into this one, 'cause I ain't really one of them farm n***as.'"
The podcast went completely off the rails from there, with Cam telling a story about a time he enacted a roleplay scenario with a woman, but he got "confused" because she kept changing things on the fly.
"She said, 'Yeah, I'm your dirty teacher,'" he said. "And I'm like, 'Okay, I'm in class, I'm a student.' Then three minutes later, she said, 'I wanna take your temperature.' I'm like, 'Okay, we're in the doctor's office now?'"
