Ahead of the arrival of the Netflix docuseries Power Moves, Allen Iverson tearfully reflected on how much his friendship with Shaquille O'Neal means to him.

In an interview with People, Iverson, 49, admitted that he's "an emotional guy" and cried while opening up about his longtime friendship with Shaq, 53. "I love him so much," he shared. "I don't want to be up here crying and shit, you know what I mean? I just love him. ... [He's a] big brother, a mentor, and just everything you're supposed to be as a man. I love his family. I love how he raised his kids. I learned from him. He's just a beautiful guy... I can't talk about him."

Power Moves follows Shaq as he takes on the goal of revitalizing Reebok's place in the world of basketball as the President of Reebok Basketball. He's also joined by Iverson, who is the Vice President of the initiative. The duo joined Reebok in October 2023, and Iverson said it was an easy choice because of his history with the brand.

"I know what Reebok did for me," said Iverson, who released his first Reebok shoe in 1996. "I know what Reebok did for my family. I know what Reebok did for the culture. I know how Reebok blessed me and gave me a chance. And for me to give back is only right."

Power Moves—which also features one of Reebok's biggest rising stars, Angel Reese—just dropped on Netflix and is available to watch here.

Iverson emotionally reflecting on his friendship with Shaq comes not long after he made a surprise appearance at Post Malone's Philadelphia concert for a performance of "White Iverson," Posty's breakthrough track. “Being a inspiration is golden! Shout out to @postmalone and shout out to Philadelphia! Ain't nothing like Philly love,” Iverson wrote of the experience on Instagram.
