UPDATED 10/22/24, 3:57 p.m. ET: Aaron Rodgers has cleared the air and said he has never eaten any of his boogers despite looking like he did standing on the sidelines of the New York Jets game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend.

On Tuesday's episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers was asked about the clip of him seemingly picking his nose and putting his finger in his mouth right after during the game on Sunday. According to Rodgers, he's never done the disgusting deed, and he's proud of it.

"I've actually never eaten my boogers," said Rodgers. "That's one thing I'm very proud of...I honestly haven't."

He continued, "It's a tough look to try and defend. Because that video is a little incriminating. I can tell you that there needs to be a side view that shows that there wasn't a boog that actually went in the mouth. It seems like I didn't get anything on that one...But, yeah, it's a bad look."

Aaron Rodgers appears to have a taste for a different kind of nose candy.

During the New York Jets game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, October 20, Rodgers was spotted seemingly digging around in his nose for a little snack while on the sideline. There's obviously no shame in having a pick at your nose every now and then, even if it is embarrassing, but Rodgers appeared to commit the cardinal sin of eating what he found while digging for gold.

He has yet to respond to the clip, which has attracted a lot of attention on social media.

Rodgers has expressed an interest in conspiracy theories for years now, but he's not once talked about the potential benefits of eating boogers. He did, however, suggest that AIDS was created by the U.S. government for the financial benefit of the pharmaceutical industry, per Out Sports. Really makes you think.

Earlier this year, CNN published a report that alleged Rodgers pushed Sandy Hook conspiracy theories, which he later denied on social media. “As I’m on the record saying in the past, what happened in Sandy Hook was an absolute tragedy,” said Rodgers, who at one point was considered to be a potential running mate for libertarian and all-around weirdo Robert F. Kennedy Jr. before he dropped out. "I am not and have never been of the opinion that the events did not take place."
