50 Cent is back to trolling Floyd Mayweather after he denied rumors that he's bankrupt and announced that he's filing a lawsuit against Business Insider.

Fif, who has repeatedly butt heads with his former friend, reposted a clip of Mayweather speaking about his lawsuit and the bankruptcy rumors in a since-deleted Instagram post. Alongside the clip, he wrote, "Well that case is going nowhere because you didn't do the deal champ ... He must have named the writer separately to make him have to pay his own legal team. Champ mad."

Mayweather sued Business Insider and journalist David Geiger earlier this month after the publication reported that there was "no evidence" the boxer had purchased a 62-building Manhattan apartment portfolio. In the lawsuit, he accused Geiger of embarking "on a campaign of harassment and defamation, characterized by aggressive and misleading journalism that not only distorts the truth, but seems driven by a deep-seated bias against Mr. Mayweather’s success.”

As he explained on a panel for TheRealDeal's NYC Forum 2025 discussing real estate, he has never sued a media outlet before. "Someone is going out there putting lies on my name, putting lies on me and my team, hurting my business,” Mayweather said. He also denied that he's broke and boasted that he has two private jets and owns "a hundred buildings."

When Mayweather claimed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he owns "upwards of 100 buildings," 50 Cent cast doubt. "If there safe to say, I should say LOL All cap detected," he wrote. "Champ retarded anybody buy 60 buildings in New York would make the news. STUPID!"
