Video Shows Possible Sewage Pipe Burst At Washington Football Game

Footage that’s now circulating the internet shows what some fans have called a sewage pipe burst, and what others are calling water, at Washington’s game.

Some football fans really stink, but that was especially true for a few fans who showed up to a Washington Football Team game on Sunday.

Footage that’s now circulating the internet shows what some fans have called a sewage pipe burst, and what others are calling water, at Washington’s Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, as fans at FedEx Field left their seats when the liquid began to fall from above them.

The clip shows fans dip out of their seats with one man trying to propel himself backward, as one fan in the background can be heard yelling, “That’s shit.”

Michael Phillips of the Richmond Times-Dispatch tweeted shortly after the video started making its rounds on Sunday, reporting that some fans got “really wet” in the process. Most fans in the area felt it was just water, while some said sewage. Still, someone from the stadium told Phillips that he’s “never seen anything like that before.”

Four rows of fans ended up moving to new locations during the game, which Washington lost 20-16.
