Carmelo Anthony finally found a team in the Portland Trailblazers and the former All-Star made his debut against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night.
Before the game, LeBron James shouted out Melo and wished him luck playing in his new number, 00.
"So damn Happy for my brother @carmeloanthony!!!!" he wrote on Twitter. "Just saw him warming up for the game on the TV and it made me smiled. Back at it Champ! Good luck."
Other players and fans were equally happy to see Anthony back on the court.
Though not everyone was 100 percent on board with Portland's decision to bring in the aging star.
Anticipation was building as Melo warmed up in the Smoothie King Center.
He repaid that enthusiasm by nailing his first shot in a Portland uniform, an open three.
