Antonio Brown addressed his strained relationship with Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Twitter. The disgruntled wide receiver, who is openly asking to leave Pittsburgh, said that Roethlisberger has an "owner mentality" and fails to treat his teammates as equals.

In response to a fan on Twitter asking about their issues, the wide receiver said that there is no conflict between the two of them and then immediately aired his grievances against the team's franchise QB.

"No conflict just a matter of respect! Mutual respect!" he wrote. "He has a owner mentality like he can call out anybody including coaches. Players know but they can’t say anything about it otherwise they meal ticket gone. It’s a dirty game within a game."

Brown's comments come after Roethlisberger refused to fuel the narrative about his tense relationship. He called the story "baffling" and denied any locker room squabbling back in January.

"I'm blessed to play with him," he said. "I consider him one of my closer friends ... Each guy has to answer that question (about welcoming him back to the locker room). I know guys are frustrated, some of the guys I talked to, that they tried to reach out to him and didn't hear back."

Brown went on to say that his relationship with the team has been irrevocably damaged. He said that owner Art Rooney didn't see him as a person and cited the team spreading misinformation about him to his teammates as the reason he's ready to move on from Pittsburgh.

He said that wherever he lands next, he will be looking for a team where he can excel at a sport that he loves.
