Stefon Diggs is accused by his former personal chef of slapping and choking her during a confrontation over a salary dispute.

According to a newly released police incident report reviewed by TMZ, Diggs’ former personal chef went to police on Dec. 16 alleging that an argument over unpaid wages turned violent on Dec. 2.

At the time, she told officers that Diggs entered her unlocked bedroom to discuss a text exchange about money she believed she was owed, before becoming angry and smacking her across the face. When she tried to push him away, the woman claimed the New England Patriots star "tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck."

She alleged he was behind her with his arm wrapped around her, she had trouble breathing and "could have blacked out," and when she tried to pry herself free he tightened his grip.

The woman claimed he then threw her onto her bed and said something along the lines of "Thought so." She then said she continued to explain she had not been paid, Diggs replied "Lies," and walked out.

She told police she had redness on her upper chest but took no photos and said she was hesitant to come forward because of Diggs' status with the Patriots.

The report says the woman began working for Diggs in July and expected to work through the 2025 season. Although she was supposed to be paid weekly, it was switched to monthly, and she had not received a month's pay at the time of the incident.

She said Diggs did not want to pay her for a week of work in November because her services were not needed, which she disputed because she did not request the break, and was still entitled to receive her salary.

After the alleged incident on Dec. 2, she returned to his residence days later to collect her belongings. She claims he texted her to handle the dispute with his assistant.

She then claimed the assistant agreed to pay her if she signed a non-disclosure agreement, which she supposedly refused.

On Dec. 20, the woman told police she received a voicemail and texts from a woman she believed to be Diggs' girlfriend telling her "not to make a big deal out of the situation," leading her to believe the recipient knew she had contacted police. However, the report does not explicitly state whether the woman was Cardi B.

Police said they were unable to reach Diggs, and on Dec. 23 they received an email from the woman saying she wanted to move forward with charges.

On Tuesday (Dec. 30), Diggs was charged with felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery.

An attorney representing Diggs, Michael DiStefano, appeared remotely at the Denham District Court on Tuesday. He argued that the police report on the alleged incident should be impounded and details of the allegations should remain sealed.

Per Diggs’ legal counsel, a settlement offer has been made to the alleged victim.

The Patriots released a statement on Tuesday, saying they were “aware of the accusations” made against the wide receiver.

"Stefon has informed the organization that he categorically denies the allegations. We support Stefon,” read the statement. “We will continue to gather information and will cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities and the NFL as necessary. Out of respect for all parties involved, and given that this is an ongoing legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time."

Diggs' attorney David Meier told TMZ the allegations "are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated --because they did not occur."

He added, "The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear: they are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee's satisfaction. Stefon looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law."

The news comes not long after Diggs helped guide the Patriots to their first AFC East crown in six years, and days after their 42-10 win over the New York Jets on Sunday, Dec. 28, when a social media video appeared to show him scanning the stands for Cardi B, with whom he shares a child.
