Jake Paul has since said he "misspoke" when he suggested that Mike Tyson has Parkinson's.

Despite comments made from Jake Paul on a livestream, Mike Tyson denies he has Parkinson’s disease.

Paul caused a stir last Tuesday when he made an appearance on a livestream with Adin Ross. Around the 13-minute mark in the video linked here, Paul discussed using substances like ayahuasca and mushrooms for health-related purposes.

“Toad cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so that he could come back and fight,” the 28-year-old said on the stream. “You smoke it. You smoke the frog venom. Toads from the Sonoran Desert in Mexico.”

After the clip went viral on Sunday, a spokesperson for Tyson denied the claims in a statement made to TMZ, saying, “Mike is happy and perfectly healthy. He doesn’t have Parkinson’s or any other illness.”

In response to the backlash, Paul attempted to walk back his comments via his X account, writing, “Bruh…Mike Tyson didn’t have no Parkinsons..WTF. Why the fuck is the internet so stupid for. I misspoke. Meant he used toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do.”

Despite a serious medical scare that postponed their fight’s original July 20 date, Paul defeated Tyson by unanimous decision in a highly-publicized match on Nov. 15.

Last month, Tyson told the New York Post that although he feels “pretty good,” he’s not sure if he’s “100 percent recovered” from the fight against Paul. The two later reunited at Donald Trump’s inauguration party.
