Rumors are circulating the interweb that Rockets All-Star James Harden and R&B singer Ashanti are an item. There’s no telling how long the two have been reportedly dating, but some peg the beginning of their relationships at more than a year ago. “I’m at Hyde in the Bellagio in Vegas and James Harden is there with Ashanti,” one Twitter user posted back in July 2016, according to Ebony.
Other sites have pointed out that Ashanti was spotted sitting very closely to Harden’s family during a Rockets game last week. Harden reportedly put the singer up in a hotel and spoiled her during the visit. “James Harden put Ashanti up at a Houston hotel, then she sat with his family at the game and he bought her flowers,” a source close to Harden told Terez Owens. “They are 100 percent in a relationship.”
Neither the singer or NBA star have confirmed the rumors, but fans are taking this lowkey relationship as a promising sign that Harden is going to carry the team all the way to the Championships this season.
