Cristiano Ronaldo wants to dead the debate.
He's better than Lionel Messi.
In an interview that debuts Saturday, Real Madrid's all-time leading scorer told the BBC that he is the world's best soccer player.
"It's opinions, I respect the opinions," Ronaldo said. "Maybe in your opinion Messi is better than me, but in my mind I am better than him. So it’s simple.”
Messi, 28, is a four-time Ballon d'Or winner, given annually to the top player in the world. Ronaldo, 30, has won the award three times.
