Phil Mickelson is considerably richer after defeatingTiger Woods in 22 rounds.

The two golfers played for $9 million at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas on Friday with 700 invited guests in attendance.

"I know big picture, your career is the greatest of all time," Mickelson said about Tiger, perESPN. "I've seen you do things that are just remarkable. But just know I will not ever let you live this one down. I will bring it up every time I see you."

"It's not the Masters, it's not the U.S. Open, I know, but it's something," Mickelson added. "It's nice to have a little something on you."

The initially pay-per-view match, set at a cost of $19.99, was beset by technical difficulties, Deadlinereports. But some found out that the event was being streamed for free on Bleacher Report. People who paid the $19.99 were, unsurprisingly, not happy when they came across the info.
