The usually anti-interview Marshawn Lynch was a guest on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday night.

The NFL running back was asked by Bill Maher what he thought about a range of issues including marijuanaColin Kaepernick, the national anthem protests against protest brutality that have been going on in the NFL, and the 2017 tweet Donald Trump sent out blasting him.

“I mean, that motherf*cker say a lot of sh*t,” the Oakland Raiders player replied on the subject of Trump. "He called me unpatriotic but if you know me, you know come to my neighborhood where I’m from and you know you’ll see me take the shirt off my back and give it to someone in less need, what would you call that?”

Elsewhere in the interview, Lynch talked about gentrification. When asked to describe it, Lynch responded: "It's basically when, for me, a lot of white people move into the hood and kick everybody out that's there. I mean, sh*t, basically that's how it go."

Talking about Colin Kaepernick, Marshawn revealed that the two "share text messages."

You can catch the episode in full over on HBO.
