It looks like the reports were true.

Two-time All-Pro running back Le’Veon Bell is heading to the New York Jets for $52.5 Million, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. A source told ESPN that the deal will include a guaranteed $35 million and a maximum value of around $61 million.

Shortly after the news broke, Bell, who sat out of the 2018 season because he didn't want to play under the franchise tag, took to Twitter to comment on the deal.

The three-time Pro Bowler previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for five seasons before sitting out over a contract dispute. Reports of Bell signing to the New York Jets comes on the heels of news that former teammate Antonio Brown is heading to the Raiders.
