Matt Ryan Addresses Jalen Ramsey Calling Him 'Overrated'

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey stirred up the sports story of the week when his comments about several opposing quarterbacks, published in a GQ interview, went viral. This led to the inevitable question: how would these notable signal-callers respond? Eli Manning had a subtle but hilarious reaction.

Atlanta's Matt Ryan—another of the QBs whom Ramsey criticized—doesn't seem too bothered, either. Here's what Ramsey said about the Falcons QB:

During an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Ryan shrugged off Ramsey's criticism. "I've played for 11 years," Ryan said. "And so, I've heard my fair share of trash talking from a lot of different people. If this stuff kept me up at night, I probably wouldn't be doing what I'm doing. So, I don't pay too much mind to it. I'm about winning games, and I'm about being the absolute best player that I can be. So, that's kind of my thoughts on it."

The simple summary: Matt Ryan's just 'bout that action, boss. Last season, Ryan threw for 4,095 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. His QB rating dropped from 117.1 (2016) to 91.4 (2017).
