Looks like Le’Veon Bell is going to prom. A Steelers fan requested for him to go with her as her date if she got 500 retweets.
Bell made the challenge way harder, though—he said she had to get 600. Seriously, 600? Is it that hard to get 600 retweets? Did Le’Veon Bell medium-key want to go to a high school prom? The result seemed inevitable.
Broncos running back Kapri Bibbs watched the retweets start piling up and alerted his fellow NFL running back: better start picking out that tux and order a corsage, Le’Veon.
Bell didn’t hesitate to pledge that he will own up to his end of the deal. A mere four hours after he issued the challenge, Bell announced to Ava that he would indeed attend her prom. Congratulations, Ava.
I think I can speak on behalf of sports fans when I say we’re going to need some videos of Bell out on the dance floor at this prom. Oh, and perhaps a guest performance of his new Skip Bayless diss track (seriously, it’s a thing), “Shrimp Bayless.”
