LeBron James Shares the Ultimate Praise for 'Black Panther'

LeBron James gave the movie a big endorsement.

Black Panther can't lose right now. Even the greatest basketball player alive is enamored with Ryan Coogler's film, which stars Michael B. Jordan and Chadwick Boseman.

At James' media availability at Cavs practice Tuesday, a reporter asked the 33-year-old forward if he had seen the movie. "Yep, I seen it last night," LeBron responded.

The reporter followed up by asking what he thought about it, and LeBron launched into a lengthy endorsement of the Marvel movie and why it provides such an important story for society in 2018.

"What do I think? It's one of the greatest movies I've ever seen," LeBron said. "And so many different reasons why. At this time and place right now, in the society that we're in right now, I think it was like perfect timing. Timing is everything."

Earlier this week, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich compared LeBron to Black Panther in the way he has set an example for kids.

Black Panther is crushing records at the box office right now. The movie's fans are so into it that they're petitioning Netflix for a TV spinoff.
