About two years ago, the Complex team investigated a very important question: could Jesus ball? Could the Son of God get buckets? Could the Lion and the Lamb expose you?

Apparently, LeBron James—who embraced the nickname The Chosen One—thinks so. He made an appearance on Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye’s podcast, Road Trippin’.

It is their final episode of the season, and it included talk about the Finals, Draymond Green, and LeBron’s new bald hairstyle. They also discussed LeBron’s post defense—and how few human beings could score on him on the block.

“There’s only three people in this world that can score on me in the post,” LeBron said. “Shaquille O’Neal in his prime—who else was it? Oh, it’s two. And Jesus Christ.”

Frye responded by asking, “what about the Dalai Lama?”

“Nah,” LeBron answered. “Only Jesus Christ and Shaquille O’Neal in they prime.”

The Twittersphere naturally had thoughts on LeBron’s hilarious, tongue-in-cheek quote.

Road Trippin’ is an excellent show that you should check out if you haven’t before. It provides great insight into the Cavs we don’t get to see—the team behind closed doors. You can check out the pod here.
