On Monday, DeMarcus Cousins made the most shocking move of the NBA offseason thus far, announcing he will sign a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors have won three of the last four titles and already have one of the most talented rosters in NBA history—now they're replacing JaVale McGee with a four-time All-Star center? You've got to be kidding me.

Joel Embiid was just as stunned as the rest of us. While reacting to the transaction, he implored LeBron James to "pull a DeAndre Jordan" and come to Philadelphia.

Embiid was referencing the awkward situation between Jordan and the Dallas Mavericks in 2015. Jordan committed to joining the Mavs, but then ghosted owner Mark Cuban and elected to re-sign with the Clippers. Dude just changed his mind. As Joel sees it, LeBron should do the same thing.

The Jordan situation is even stranger because this summer he signed with Dallas after all, agreeing to a one-year, $24 million deal. Sorry, JoJo, but landing LBJ doesn't seem to be in the cards.

The Sixers lost out on LeBron and also lost free agents Marco Belinelli and Ersan Ilyasova, who signed with the Spurs and Bucks, respectively. But J.J. Redick is back!
