Remember when Kevin Durant and Damian Lillard were exposed for their old tweets? Shouldn’t professional athletes know by now that no one is immune to the wrath and memory of the internet?

The Philadelphia Eagles selected West Virginia running back Wendell Smallwood in the fifth round of the NFL Draft Saturday, No. 153 overall. Shortly afterward, the internet – of course – found a tweet from far in Smallwood’s past. Almost five years ago, he posted this:

Smallwood, who is now 22, was only 17 at the time, but still – it’s stupid and offensive.

It appears Smallwood has since deleted his Twitter account. The Eagles had tweeted at the account just two hours ago:

It could be worse, Wendell: your career could have started like Laremy Tunsil’s.
