The Cavaliers' Savior Could Be...Montell Jordan?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are having a year to forget. It started last offseason. Internal turmoil led to the firing of General Manager David Griffin. The Cavs then traded away their star point guard Kyrie Irving to their biggest rival in the East, the Celtics.

While Kyrie and Boston have flourished in 2017-18 (they're 39-15 and at the top of the East), LeBron James and his Cavs have reeled. The infighting has continued, as players have reportedly pointed fingers at each other. Kevin Love was never fully embraced in Cleveland, and the team's dissatisfaction with Love has only heightened since adding Isaiah Thomas to the mix.

Now, the Cavs are looking for help anywhere they can find it. It's been widely reported that Cleveland is interested in trading for Los Angeles Clippers big man DeAndre Jordan; the deal would give the Cavs a monster inside presence and could—they hope—resurrect their chances of making a fourth-straight NBA Finals.

Tom Withers of the Associated Press asked an unnamed Cleveland player how much adding DeAndre would help. The player's response was priceless.

Jordan, of course, is best known for his iconic track, "This Is How We Do It," which still goes in 2018. In a strange twist, Tuesday—the day the quote from the Cavs player hit the web—is the 23rd anniversary of the release of that song, which was No. 1 for seven weeks on the Billboard charts in 1995.

Jordan is 49, so he's probably past his prime, but he's 6-foot-8. Get this man in the Celebrity All-Star Game so we can see if he can still get all hands in the air.
