Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, quietly released a collection on Monday that featured a substantial apparel range alongside the introduction of a new $20 slipper.
Dubbed the SL-01, this new Yeezy slipper features a fairly simple design with a low-cut upper paired with a ribbed outsole below. The silhouette doesn't appear to include any visible branding, but numbers are stamped on the soles. The sizing for the model starts at a two and goes up every two sizes up to a 16. According to Ye on his Instagram Story, the sneaker brought in $2.3 million in sales revenue in just 24 hours since it was released yesterday.
The Yeezy SL-01 silhouette is Ye's second footwear release since the conclusion of his Adidas partnership in 2022. The first Yeezy release post-Adidas was the Yeezy Pod, which dropped in December 2023. It debuted as a $200 shoe but eventually received a price reduction to $20.
