This past week’s release of the Virgil Abloh Archives x Air Jordan 1 High “Alaska” was arguably the most anticipated sneaker drop of the year, so far, and its prices on the secondary marketplace reflect the high demand.

Data provided by StockX shows the average prices as well as the number of trades of the V.A.A. x Air Jordan 1 High, and includes the early drop of the sneaker at the archives’ World’s Fair activations in late March, as well as on and after its official release on April 3.

As of March 31, 2,197 pairs had been sold at an average price of $710, which was a 209 percent increase from its $230 retail price. On April 3 at noon, the number of pairs sold jumped to 3,383, but the average resell price dropped to $650. And as of 9 a.m. ET today, 5,314 pairs had been sold at an average price of $626.

  • Monday, April 6, at 9 a.m. ET: $626

This Virgil Abloh-designed version of the Air Jordan 1 High originally dropped in this all-white colorway in 2018, exclusively in Europe. This year’s version features new V.A.A. branding on the medial portion of the upper, while the initial pair used “Off-White.”

According to StockX, the average resale prices of the original version hovered around $4,231 in 2024, but that average dropped to $2,855 for 2025. “That decline is without a doubt driven by early speculation and rumors of a new release that began circulating in early 2025, long before any official images or announcements,” explains Brendan Dunne, Senior Director of Customer Community & Engagement at StockX. Much of that decline came before the branding distinction between the pairs was revealed. “Knowing this, I wouldn’t be surprised if resale prices for the first pair eventually begin to tick back up,” Dunne says.
