Nike SB is introducing one of the more unexpected pairings in footwear this year with its upcoming SB Dunk Low collab with The Wizard of Oz.

This upcoming pair features a nylon upper that's covered in a graphic inspired by a scene in the film where the characters Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man, and the Scarecrow, visit a poppy field. According to the leaker, Dorothy's signature phrase, "No place like home," appears on the heel tab, while a graphic of the Wicked Witch of the West is printed on the insoles.
At the time of publication, release details for this The Wizard of Oz x Nike SB Dunk Low have yet to be announced by either of the parties involved in the project. Check back soon for new developments in the coming months.
UPDATE (12/09): Official images of The Wizard of Oz x Nike SB Dunk Low have now loaded on the backend of the Swoosh's website. According to @NikeSBorNothing on Instagram, the collaborative colorway will arrive on Dec. 19 at local skate shops, but a SNKRS drop has not yet been confirmed.
UPDATE (12/12): A SNKRS drop has been confirmed to take place on Dec. 23 for $135. In the description, the brand confirmed that the style was created with a hydro-dipped printing technique that "transforms the Dunk Low Pro into a floral pastiche of allegory and imagination." In addition to releasing in adult sizing, the collab is also dropping in little kids and toddler sizes.
