Adidas is collaborating with Nickelodeon's iconic cartoon series, SpongeBob SquarePants, on a multi-sneaker collection now available on Complex.
Newly leaked images have emerged of the SpongeBob SquarePants x Adidas Superstar and Stan Smith, with each pair inspired by one of the show's protagonists. The first model pays homage to Patrick Star and features a pink suede upper inspired by the starfish's body. A graphic of the character is printed on the tongue tag, while special co-branding is printed on the insoles.
Next up is an elevated version of the classic Stan Smith to mirror the design of SpongeBob's signature black dress shoes in the show. The sneaker has a shiny leather upper and a new tooling inspired by dress shoes.
According to Sole Retriever, the two SpongeBob x Adidas sneakers will release sometime in November. Check back soon for official updates.
UPDATE (11/20): The SpongeBob x Adidas Superstar and Stan Smith will release today on Complex at 12 p.m. ET before their wider release at Adidas.com and at select retailers on Dec. 10. The first shoe retails for $130, while the latter pair retails for $140.
