Salomon and New York City-based designer Sandy Liang are back with a new sneaker project. For their third collaboration, Liang has injected her distinctive feminine aesthetic onto the XT-Whisper model.
Liang's version of the Salomon XT-Whisper wears a predominantly pink color scheme on the upper paired with wavy silver overlay panels. Co-branding appears at the center of the tongue, while a contrasting red outsole sits below.
"The XT-Whisper is one of my favorite silhouettes from Salomon’s archives, and I loved the challenge of reimagining it through a fresh, modern lens," Liang said. "This collaborative design reflects my love for outdoor adventures paired with the practicality and ease of my everyday city life."
The Sandy Liang x Salomon XT-Whisper will be released on Thursday, Jan. 16, exclusively at Sandyliang.info, for $150. A wider launch will take place on Jan. 23 at Salomon.com and at select Salomon stockists. Grab a closer look at the sneaker below.
