Salehe Bembury will soon add another New Balance silhouette to his long list of sneaker projects with the brand. Next up for the designer is a colorful iteration of the New Balance 1000.
Newly leaked images of the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1000 from @yaren211.llc on Instagram show an outdoorsy version of the lifestyle model. The unreleased pair is reminiscent of his "Water be the Guide" 2002R from 2001, as it features a blue-based mesh and leather upper paired with a green hairy suede toecap. Contrasting red accents appear on the tongue and shoelaces, while a Salehe Bembury-branded tag appears at the heel. The sneaker also comes with cork insoles, while a green Abzorb-cushioned midsole sits below.
Despite images of the collab surfacing, firm release info for the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1000 has yet to be announced by either of the parties involved. Check back soon for official updates in the coming weeks.

UPDATE (08/28): Bembury has announced that his "Fog Be the Cloud" New Balance 1000 collab will launch on Sept. 2 at 12 p.m. ET at Beaspunge.com. The designer also released a video campaign for the shoe on Instagram today, starring rapper Vic Mensa, which appears below.
