Reebok will help Sony celebrate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation this fall with a three-shoe collection dropping soon.
This upcoming PlayStation x Reebok collab features three of the sportswear company's iconic silhouettes, including the Instapump Fury, Pump Omni Zone II, and Workout Plus. Each colorway is designed to look like the first PlayStation video game console, donning a grey-based makeup and complete with special vintage-styled packaging.
Reebok also confirmed that each pair will release in its own specific region across the globe as a nod to PlayStation’s original launch regions back in 1995. The Instapump Fury will drop in Japan, the Pump Omni Zone II in the US, and the Workout Plus in the UK.
"This collection is a time machine," Mubi Ali, Reebok's global senior product marketing manager, said. "It’s for the after-school music TV kids: grunge in their headphones, wheels at their feet, and a dial-up world that felt wide open. We’ve brought those memories to life in every stitch, lace, and pump."
This PlayStation x Reebok collection will release sometime in mid-October at select Reebok stockists. Updates on the drop will be available at Playstation.com.
