Offset Says Sneaker Releases in 2024 Were 'Terrible'

The rapper shares his 2024 Sneaker of the Year on 'Sneaker Shopping.'

As the year winds down, the best sneaker releases of 2024 continue to be a big topic of conversation among sneaker fans. The latest person to share his opinion on the subject is rapper Offset on Complex's Sneaker Shopping.

Around the 7-minute mark, host Joe La Puma asks Offset if he felt 2024 was a good year for sneaker releases, and the rapper promptly responds, "Hell nah. 2024 was ass. I ain't gonna cap. The shoes were terrible."

Offset then proceeds to grab this year's reissue of the Wu-Tang x Nike Dunk Highs and calls it "disrespectful" that the brand decided to rerelease the mythical collab and vows to never buy the retro.

In the episode, Offset also gives his take on the best sneaker release of 2024, saying that Cactus Plant Flea Market made its mark and was a worthy contender for the title with their Nike Air Force 1 Low collabs. Check out Offset's Sneaker Shopping in its entirety above.
