Hot on the heels of the Barbie-themed Dunk colorway surfacing, Nike will continue to feed the recent Barbie sneaker craze with an upcoming Vomero 5 release.
The new Nike Vomero 5 colorway shown here dons various soft pink tones throughout the entirety of the mesh-based upper, which is a color synonymous with Barbie. The sneaker is also dressed in darker shades of pink on the 3M reflective mid-panels, the overlay panels, and the Swoosh logo on the sides. Similar to the aforementioned Dunk Low counterpart, a star embroidery appears underneath the "Nike" branding on the tongue. Wrapping up the look of the lifestyle runner are a white midsole and a pink outsole.
Despite its Barbie-like inspiration, this Vomero 5 makeup was not designed in collaboration with the film or Mattel property. However, fans can purchase an officially licensed Barbie x Vans colleciton now.
