Nike is paying homage to the defunct NBA franchise, the Seattle Supersonics, with this upcoming green and red SB Dunk colorway shown here.
While there is no official Supersonics branding on the sneaker, the Swoosh confirms on the SNKRS product description that this SB Dunk Low "pays tribute to Seattle's gone-but-not-forgotten professional hoops team." The sneaker is dressed in the Sonics' late-'90s era green and red team colors paired with yellow accents on the Swoosh as well as Nike branding on the tongue and heel. This pair comes with additional red and yellow laces in addition to the green shoelaces already attached to the shoe.
This Supersonics-inspired SB Dunk Low will be released on Dec. 7 via SNKRS and at select retailers. The sneaker retails for $125. Scroll on for a closer look at the style.
