Victor Wembanyama returned to his home country of France this week for the 2025 NBA Paris Games, and the San Antonio Spurs big man pulled out special sneakers for the occasion.
Ahead of yesterday's matchup between the Spurs and the Indiana Pacers in Paris, Wemby pulled up to the Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City match wearing the coveted Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Low. In a video shared by the NBA on Instagram this week, Wemby is seen dribbling a soccer ball in the white and green colorway.
The white and green Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 that Wembanyama wore this week looks to be the same as the retail pair that released in 2022, but that project offered nowhere near the French basketball player's gigantic 20.5 shoe size. This means that either Nike or Louis Vuitton, both brands that he has deals with, would have made the shoes custom just for him, and likely after the Louis Vuitton x Nike collab's original run in '22.
This wasn't the first time Wemby has been spotted in the coveted collab—he also wore the white-on-white Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 in June when he walked the runway for the Vogue World show in Paris, which is shown in the image below.
