Nike is planning to celebrate Christmas in a major way this year. In addition to last week's re-release of the "Christmas" Kobe 9, Vanessa Bryant has confirmed that special "Grinch" Kobe 6 football cleats will also be released soon.
Bryant unveiled the "Mismatch" Kobe 6 Vapor Edge cleats on Instagram yesterday, confirming that select pairs are arriving on Christmas Day. Nike first released the "Grinch" Kobe 6 Vapor Edge cleat in its traditional green colorway on November 28. As the name suggests, one shoe from the upcoming mismatched version will feature the red-based "Reverse Grinch" color scheme and the other in green.
Despite the unveiling, release details for the "Mismatch" Kobe 6 Vapor Edge cleats have yet to be announced by either Nike or Bryant. Check back soon for new developments in the days ahead.
UPDATE (12/21): Official images of the "Mismatch" Kobe 8 Vapor Edge cleats have emerged. As of now, the style is scheduled to drop on Christmas Day, but formal release details have yet to be confirmed.
