Nike is honoring Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark and her outstanding rookie campaign in 2024 with a special Nike Kobe 5 release.
Dubbed “Rookie of the Year,” this upcoming Caitlin Clark x Nike Kobe 5 Protro (style code: IV2712-001) will finally release in mid-April after Clark herself wore this exact colorway during the Fever's 2025 home opener. This collab dons a bold metallic silver and red color blocking, which appears to be directly inspired by the photo of Clark holding her Rookie of the Year trophy.
This “Rookie of the Year” colorway isn’t the first Clark-themed Kobe 5 to release to the public. The brand also dropped a Fever-inspired pair in June 2025.
